Growth spurt.

Saturday, April 3, 2010

Elisha is officially two weeks old today. He’s also hit a growth spurt. He’s officially hungry alllllllll the time. Like. All the time. My boobs can testify.

It’s been a blur of another week. Eli’s a wonderful baby. He’s usually calm and mellow, but he does have his fussy moments. He sleeps well. He’s cuddly. He’s starting to smile (more at my boobs than at my face or at Justin’s face). He doesn’t need to be held all the time, but he certainly doesn’t mind falling asleep in someone’s arms instead of in his bed.

I love him lots.

Here are some recent action shots:

Here he is sporting a new kimono-like lap tee from my friend Michiko and her hubby Jeff in Japan. He’s also wearing a new Flip diaper cover that came in the mail. It’s still a little bulky on him over a newborn prefold (he’s quickly outgrowing those), but it’ll fit nicely over the infant-sized prefolds or a flat diaper soon enough.

Here’s some photos from yesterday’s naptime and a diaper change. His shirt is very appropriate for the current eating phase we’re stuck in:
