nursery prints on canvas

Thursday, February 18, 2010

yesterday, the nursery art i made finally arrived on canvas. it looks so amazing in printed format instead of just digital. the canvas is stretched on 3/4″ in frames, and each piece is 8″x10″. i’m so excited to get these up on the wall by the crib, and i think that i’ll even put them in my etsy shop once i figure out how much to sell them for.

a printing place in california: https://www.zazagallery.com/

great prices and now i can say great work! i was worried because they are literally the cheapest place i could find to print on wrapped canvas, but i didn’t feel like spending $40 for an 8″x10″ when i could spend $25+shipping instead.

They also have great customer service—I chose “gallery wrap” instead of “mirror wrap,” not knowing how much extra image they actually needed to stretch the canvas over the frame. They called me to let me know my image wouldn’t fit properly that way and suggested a mirror wrap instead. Called. Like … on the phone. It was pretty awesome. I was impressed. 😀
