i apologize for the lack of photos, but the sites i did some baby browsing at didn’t have any images i could link to properly. there’s plenty of images if you visit, however. the unfortunate and surprising thing was just how expensive sheet sets are from cribs … not to mention how expensive cribs are! wow. i was a little shocked, but i suppose it’s just the way things are. that’s what gift registries are for, right?

i saw some really cute bedding here, here, and here. all three sets are gender-neutral and brightly colored. the last one with the birds is my favorite.

two really cute mobiles are here and here. i’d love to hang a mobile above a crib when we get one. i’d also like to decorate the walls with some vinyl, and there are some great examples of some i like on my etsy favorites.

I am totally stalking you on your blog! You are adorable. I do have to say I probably wouldn’t buy crazy expensive crib stuff. We never really put a blanket on Riley and needed several crib sheets…it was easiest to buy the cheaper stuff. I do think they are adorable though! Anytime you want to talk baby stuff just let me know…I do lean to the the more natural end…just so you know 🙂

good to know. i’ve been told that it’s not really worthwhile to get too much, especially at the prices that baby stuff seems to be sold at. we’d like to stick to the natural end of things, too, but if i ended up with some cute bedding as gifts … i wouldn’t complain. 😉 i think that since we plan to have more than one, at least gender-neutral bedding can be reused.

i’m always open for tips, especially for preparing for the first year. so much to prepare for!
